Proto Plano (First Shot) is the magazine of Thessaloniki Film Festival that is circulated around three times a year, during film events and summer. We were asked to redesign and implement new ideas to freshen up the existing layout since the issue was a forecast of the film event program to be presented soon. Typography, grid system and masthead were all changed. A series of three prints were commissioned under our design scrutiny.

The bumper summer issue combined illustration and journalism and its design was inspired by the feature films presented. A specific color scheme was deployed throughout to maintain perseverance but also give away a new creative steer. Engaging illustration with magazine structure was in full compliance with the overall creative direction.
